Report on foreign labor - Hanoi

According to a recent circular No 286/LDTBXH released by the People’s Committee of Hanoi and the Vietnamese Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, companies using foreign labor are required to file a periodic report on their employment of foreign nationals.
They are required to submit their first report on May 30, 2011; a second report for 2011 is due on November 30. Going forward, the reports will be due no later than May 30 and November 30 of each year.
Companies must complete the form provided by the Department, which requests details of the company’s employment of foreign nationals during the first six months of the year, as well as their recruitment plans of foreign nationals for the remaining six months of the year.
